Welcome to Butterfly Acres, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and protection of endangered species in Michigan. Our primary focus is on preserving the habitats of butterflies, insects, and birds, all of which play an essential role in maintaining the delicate balance of our ecosystem.
At Butterfly Acres, we believe that it is our responsibility to protect these species, and we hope to create a better understanding of the importance of biodiversity. Education is key, and and inspiring others to take action in protecting our natural world is another top priority for us.
Our team is made up of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about preserving Michigan’s natural habitats. We dedicate a lot of time to identifying species that are at risk, as well as to how to conserve the precious habitats that nurture them.
Whether you’re an individual, a family, or a business, there are many ways to get involved with Butterfly Acres. You can volunteer your time, make a donation, or simply spread the word about our organization and the important work that we do. In addition to endangered species conservation, we plan to embark on many other projects relating to self -sustainability, permaculture, and living off of the land.
Thank you for your interest in Butterfly Acres, and for joining us in our mission to protect and preserve Michigan’s endangered species habitats. Together, we can make a difference!
